Is it true that formula-fed babies can successfully wean using BLW as opposed to kids who have exclusively been breastfed?

BLW can generally work for babies regardless of the baby's milk source. As a bf mum, i was drawn to blw as it was touted a natural progression to solids from bf (babies continue to feed milk and solids on demand, with various tastes). In Gill Rapley's BLW book, she explains that the overall concept can work for all babies (except those with medical or physical difficulties, and preterm babies)
