I'd say it depends really as to how soon you can potty train them and then train them for the bed. with my first born, potty training was complete by age 2, and bed-wetting stopped completely by age 4. with the younger one, potty training was complete at 15 months, and bed wetting stopped at 3. help your baby go to the bathroom just before bedtime, and reduce the amount of liquid intake at least an hour or two before bedtime. also, take your baby to the bathroom once or twice in the middle of sleep, so that it becomes a habit. gradually, your baby will wake up if there is a need to go to the bathroom
