Is it okay to mix med syrup with juice / milk?

Hello. Mixing vitamins or medicine with other liquid might reduce it's effect. My trick to make my daughter drink medicine is to first I make sure I look happy and fun, I make it fun, I give it playfully, I use syringe and (it may take a while but) I give it to her in small drops while distracting her with toys/activity/screen and most of the time at her age I give her control, let her squirt the syringe into her mouth.
