Umbilical cord care tips

Hey! So the midwife told us to keep it dry and clean lang talaga, we'd gently wipe it with a clean, damp cloth during diaper changes and make sure it's completely dry after, kasi moisture can cause infection. A few of us tried the alcohol swabs thing din, but honestly our pedia said it's okay na to just use plain water now unless may signs of infection like redness or pus. Since every baby's different though, best to check with your OB or pedia para sure sa what's best for your LO's cord care!
