Menstruation after giving birth

Tanong ko lang po if normal po ba na hindi regular ang menstruation after giving birth? Mix feeding po ako and turning 1y/o si LO. Formula during day time c baby na minsan nadede rn saken pero pag gabi po breastfeed po till morning pag gising nya. Thrice palang po kasi ako nagka mens eh. Tapos yung last pa po eh spotting lang. Di naman po ako mabubuntis kasi OFW mister ko. Nakailis na nung 5mos c baby.

Totally normal yan, mama! Especially with mix feeding, yung breastfeeding pa rin natin ay tumutulong mag-suppress ng regular periods, kaya walang wonder na spotting lang or irregular pa rin siya kahit approaching 1 year na si baby. A few of us tried mix feeding din and most of us didn't get regular cycles until we stopped breastfeeding completely, so dapat ma-expect mo yan. Since spotting na lang ang last one, I'd just check in with your OB on your next check-up to make sure everything's okay and that your cycle will eventually settle, better safe than sorry lalo na medyo iba ang pattern natin, no?
