Alamak mama, I can feel how worried you are lah, stitch complications are really scary, especially when you're supposed to be resting and bonding with baby. A few of my mum friends had delayed healing issues after their stitches, and honestly it's more common than you'd think, especially if there's infection or if the wound wasn't drying properly, but the fact that your doctor is actively managing it (removing the problematic stitch, giving you medication) is really good, so try to trust the process even though it feels like forever. Since you have another appointment coming up, maybe jot down any questions or changes you notice beforehand, like if there's more discharge, smell, or redness, so you can update the doctor properly. In the meantime, keep the area really clean and dry as instructed, and try not to stress too much because that also affects healing; this is temporary even though it doesn't feel like it right now. Sending you strength, you've already made it through two recoveries before, so your body knows how to heal!
