Overeating

It may sounds silly. But I do curious if I have large portion meal will it hurt the baby in womb? I m so used to my intermittent fasting and big portion meal. Sometime it’s so hard for me to know what’s the correct portion size for me. Does any one know is the baby gonna be run of space if I put too much food and liquid in my stomach? 😩😩

Don't think it's silly at all, it's a common worry! From what I understand, the baby is pretty well protected in there and won't run out of space just because you eat a bigger meal - your stomach can expand quite a bit, and the amniotic fluid adjusts naturally. That said, intermittent fasting during pregnancy isn't ideal because the baby needs consistent nutrients throughout the day, so your body and baby do better with regular smaller meals spread out rather than big portions in one go. Might be worth checking with your gynae or PD about what portion sizes work best for you personally, since everyone's different and they can give you clearer guidance based on your weight gain and how the pregnancy is progressing so far.

Nope it doesnt hurt the baby, eat all u want as long as u feel fine. The discomfort that may arise is from heartburn coz as u mentioned, not much space, so food may go upwards.
