Night sleep

My son is 13 month old. He has this on-going “sudden screaming in the night” throughout his baby and now toddlerhood. It doesn’t happen everytime but it does make us feel exhausted when he wakes 2-3 times not wanting milk , and it’s not because of humid weather . Some might say that it’s “sleep regression” and I know not babies have this and not all babies are the same. Just wondering how many parents here are experiencing this? I heard that this sleep regression may go on till 2 years old.

My child went through something very similar around 12 to 15 months. Some nights he would suddenly cry or scream despite not being hungry, sick, or uncomfortable. For us, it seemed to be linked to developmental changes and separation anxiety. There were periods when he woke multiple times a night, and then it gradually improved on its own. We found that keeping bedtime routines very consistent helped. It was definitely exhausting, and I remember wondering if it would ever end. Thankfully it did get better with time. You're definitely not alone in experiencing this.

Oh yes! My LO went through something similar too. He would scream and cry at night. It lasted a few weeks because of teething, separation anxiety and developmental changes. You can try check the room temperature too.. or change his routine to do a test. Hopefully things get better for u! Stay strong!
