I think that appointment in month 8 is likely just the pre-op consultation where the doctor explains everything and does the checks, the actual operation date might be scheduled after that, so best to ask your doc directly when you go with your hubby. A few of my mum friends did BTL after they finished having kids, and honestly most said the procedure itself is faster than they expected, tapi the recovery soreness took a week or two lah. Since this is a surgical decision, definitely clarify the timeline and all the details with your doctor at that appointment so both you and your suami feel ready!
