Hai sayang, congratulations on reaching 39 weeks with your third! The tightening you're feeling is very likely Braxton Hicks, especially at this stage, they tend to come and go (maybe every 2, 3 hours) and usually ease off when you change position or rest. That said, with your third pregnancy, your body does tend to be more efficient, so it's quite possible labour could come sooner rather than later, but everyone's timeline is different. Someone in my mum group mentioned she had Braxton Hicks for weeks before actual labour started, and the real contractions felt unmistakably stronger and more rhythmic, they didn't stop when she moved around. Wishing you a smooth and speedy delivery, tapi do check in with your doctor or midwife if the contractions become really painful, frequent, or if you notice any bleeding or other changes, just to be safe and have peace of mind.
