SSS MATERNITY BENEFITS DENIED

Sino po dito ka-mommies same po nangyare sakin?? May EDD is july first week and eligible po to claim na for maternity ben. but sadly june katapusan po nanganak and that is another semester and sadly again hindi po nakapasok for 3months rules na hulog na required sa sss??? Yung nag expect na may claim pero wala pala dahil magkaibang buwan nanganak sa EDD ??

Hay naman, that's so frustrating! I haven't personally experienced that exact situation, but a few of us moms have had issues with SSS timing, one friend had a similar problem where the quarters didn't line up right, and she had to appeal through their Maternity Benefit Section office with her medical records showing the early delivery. I think you might want to go directly to SSS with your OB's documentation of when you actually delivered vs. your EDD, kasi sometimes they can process it if you can prove the early labor was legitimate and you were otherwise qualified. Honestly, it's worth fighting for, maternity benefits aren't easy money to lose, especially after giving birth. Good luck po, hoping you can get it resolved!
