Hi mom, scan bby first time 18 minggu, is it any chance baby's gender can change within 9 weeks?

Aiyoh sayang, no chance lah, baby's gender is set from conception, it won't change! What usually happens is the first scan at 18 weeks maybe angle wasn't clear or the sonographer wasn't 100% sure, so by the second scan they got a better view and confirmed it's a girl. A few of us in my WhatsApp group had the same thing happen, first time they said boy, then later confirmed girl because the angle was different. But I'd definitely ask your doctor to explain what they saw the first time versus now, just to put your mind at ease la.
