Postpartum thoughts

Ay, totoo yan! A few of us moms experienced the same green-yellow discharge din after giving birth, kaya don't worry, you're definitely not alone. So normally ang lochia ay dumadaan sa stages: red first, then pink-brown, tapos whitish na na lang siya habang tumatagal, pero yung green or yellow part, usually that's around the later weeks when the discharge is thinning out, so it's generally normal na. One of my mum friends had thick yellow discharge pa rin even at 8 weeks postpartum especially after c-section, so it does take a while to completely clear up depending sa healing mo. But here's the thing, kung may foul smell pa siya or grabe ang volume, or kung may fever ka or cramping, that's when you gotta check in with your doctor kasi pwedeng sign na ng infection na. It's definitely worth confirming with your OB just to be sure lahat's good with your healing, pero from what I've seen around, yung color change to green-yellow is usually just part of the process.
