MATERNITY BENEFIT

Question

Hello po sa lahat..Bali 7 months na po akong preggy,tapos last hulog ko sa SSS account ko October 2021 and yon din po yong last month na employed ako,bali October 2021 din po na nahinto ako sa trabaho and wala din po akong hulog sa SSS starting November 2021 til now,possible po ba na makatanggap o maka claim ako ng maternity benefit kong babayaran ko yong needed months ?

Ang kailangan nyo po to qualify for Maternity benefit is "The member has paid at least three (3) months of contributions within the 12-month period immediately before the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage/emergency termination of pregnancy" https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/appmanager/pages.jsp?page=maternity Kung mababayaran nyo po needed contributions, then yes, pwede kayo makatanggap. Pero if I'm not mistaken, kung this May na ang due date nyo, then within oct 2022- oct 2023 ang needed contributions. Hindi nyo na po mahahabol dahil way past the deadline na. Unlike philhealth, mas strict po ang sss pagdating sa payment ng mga lapsed due dates.

oo nga po..natanong ko na rin po mismo sa SSS,buti nga daw kong nakapag contribute ako last year,hindi na din pwede mag bulto ng bayad dahil hindi na din daw po tatanggapin ng SSS.
