Aw, totally normal yan sa newborns, mama! A lot of us had the same worry sa first week, it's usually just because they're adjusting pa lang and sometimes they get a bit dehydrated or the lips are just peeling, lalo na kung dry ang weather. Since it's going away and coming back, might be worth a quick check with your pedia just to be sure it's nothing else, pero honestly marami sa amin ang nabasa na very common lang talaga ito at di kailangan ng treatment. Keep LO hydrated, and watch kung may fever or other signs, but from what you're describing, sounds like baby is adjusting pa lang. Hang in there, first week is stressful talaga!
