Gestational diabetes happens when your body can't produce enough insulin during pregnancy. Hormone po ang insulin, produced by the pancreas that helps break down blood sugar and convert it to energy. Prone po ang pregnant because of the hormonal changes. Nawawala po un after manganak. So ingat sa mga sweets or too much carbs. Your OB will ask you to tale OGTT to check. if high risk ka, 2x mo syang gagawin, 1st trimester and 2nd trimester.
