Hi mama! So basically, maturity grade is just the sonologist's way of checking kung gaano kalaki na ang placenta mo and how well it's functioning for baby, kumbaga, they're making sure it's doing its job properly at this stage ng pregnancy mo. At 31 weeks, it's totally normal na may maturity grade na, so don't worry! One of my mum friends said her OB explained it like the placenta gets "older" and changes as pregnancy progresses, and the grading just tells you everything's on track. Mas importante lang talaga na consistent prenatal checkups mo and that baby's growing well, ang maturity grade is just one small part ng overall picture. Ingat ka always, and congrats sa first baby!
