Traveling postpartum

Hello po. EDD is Jan 27. And may upcoming trip to Hongkong kami to celebrate my firstborn’s birthday around that time po. Sa 1st birth, 10days early akong nanganak and ineexpect namin na ganun rin this time. Ask ko lang po, may nakaranas na bang magtravel agad postpartum? 2nd timer na rin sa HK and Disneyland + hotel lang talaga plans namin na intense ikutan. Other than that, ikot2 lang around sa city. Kaya na po ba yun?

Ay, congratulations sa darating mong baby! Honestly, two weeks postpartum for Disneyland is quite tight, a few of us tried similar timing and parang sobrang demanding pa ng recovery, lalo na kung breastfeeding ka pa lang and may bleeding pa. I'd really suggest checking with your OB muna kung pwede ba talaga, kasi ang Disneyland walking alone ay madami na, plus the jet lag and new baby stress combined ay nakaka-drain talaga. Maybe consider moving the celebration slightly later, or making it more low-key sa HK instead, birthday photos and nice meals lang, without the park running around? Either way, sana makuha mo ang green light from your doctor first, pero honestly mama, your recovery and bonding with your newborn ang priority namin dito.
