New born screening

Hey sis! So from what I've heard around, if you have PhilHealth and you're eligible, ang Expanded Newborn Screening (ENBS) is completely free, sobrang helpful talaga especially ngayon! But if walang PhilHealth or hindi covered, usually around ₱1,600 to ₱1,750 ang bayad for the expanded screening na 28 diseases. May basic option din na mas mura (around ₱600) pero yan lang limited diseases. A few of us did it sa hospital after birth, at mas convenient talaga kung covered na ng insurance mo kaya walang hassle sa billing, pero best talaga na i-clarify mo sa hospital or clinic mo kung exact cost and kung eligible kayo sa free screening based sa PhilHealth status ninyo. It's such an important thing for baby's health anyway, kaya worth it na i-check agad!
