Breastfeed
Hi po! May anak akong 1 month and 7 days. Formula and breastfeed po siya. Kaya lang, kagabi po, inayawan niya ‘yong milk ko na na-pump. Sinubukan ko directly sa dede ko, ayaw pa rin po until ngayon. Normal po ba? Thank you.
Ay, normal lang yan mama, especially sa ganitong edad kasi ang babies ay super picky with taste and flow changes, a few of us mums experienced the same thing around that time! Pwedeng may slight taste difference ang pumped milk compared sa direct, or baka overwhelmed lang siya sa combination ng formula at breastmilk, pero I'd suggest checking with your pedia or lactation consultant para ma-rule out kung may lip tie or latch issue, kasi important na ma-monitor. In the meantime, try offering the breast more frequently kapag relaxed siya, at hindi muna masyado insist with the pumped milk para hindi siya ma-stress pa. Marami sa circle ko ang nagsabing patience lang talaga sa ganitong stage, at eventually bumalik ang baby sa breastfeed, kaya mo yan!
