side lying breastfeeding is one of the breastfeeding position. i only do it before sleeping ni baby and for dream feeding, from newborn until now na 2yo ang anak ko. of course, there are risks when doing the side lying breastfeeding, if not done properly. risks are choking, suffocation, aspiration ng milk sa lungs that might cause lung infection. kahit ako, i ensure na i do it properly at maingat ako especially kung newborn si baby. so it is better to breastfeed si baby na buhat sia most of the time. then do the side lying breastfeeding only when needed, especially kung hindi pa sanay to do the side lying breastfeeding. my advice is do not do the side lying breastfeeding kung ikaw ay inaantok at makakatulog.
