Hello everyone

Hello. Please don't judge me. 🥺 I have a 5-month-old baby, and I am exclusively breastfeeding. I got my period 3 months after giving birth. Is it possible that I could be pregnant? My last period started on September 9. My husband and I had sex on September 27, October 4, October 8, and October 11. I'm currently 6 days late, and my pregnancy test results were negative on Oct 13, 14, 17 Has anyone experienced the same situation while exclusively breastfeeding? Is it possible to miss a period or have a delayed period even if you're not pregnant? I'm worried and don't want to get pregnant again just yet because my baby is still so young. Please share your experiences. I'm really anxious and need some advice. No judgment, please. Thank you! ❤️

Ay, no judgment here at all, mama! Honestly, the anxiety is so relatable, I was exactly like that too. So here's the thing: exclusive breastfeeding can actually mess with your cycle even after it comes back, lalo na if your baby is still feeding on-demand a lot. Some mums I know had irregular periods for months after their cycle returned, with delays and surprise gaps in between, kaya hindi automatic na pregnant agad if you're late. The negative tests on those dates are pretty reassuring, three negative tests is solid, but hormones from breastfeeding can definitely throw things off, especially if your little one is feeding frequently or going through a growth spurt. That said, since you're still anxious and want to be sure, it's worth a quick check-in with your OB just to put your mind at ease and maybe discuss what's going on with your cycle, sometimes they have insights based on how frequently baby is feeding. In the meantime, try not to stress too much (easier said than done, I know!); your body's probably just being its chaotic breastfeeding self. You've got this, and you're not alone in this worry!
