Ay sis, I feel you on this one, birthdays are supposed to feel special, di ba? A few of us mums talk about this, at honestly, it's hard kapag ang partner mo doesn't seem to put in the effort on days na importante sa atin, even kung mahal ka niya. Sometimes love is there but the showing up part is lacking, and that's frustrating to deal with, lalo na kung kami naman palaging nag-aalaga at nag-eexert for them. Maybe worth having a calm conversation with him about what you need on days like this, not just gifts, pero presence and effort din.
