Normal ke ada parut jahitan lepas bersalin normal?

Alamak, very normal lah! A few of us had perineal tears during normal delivery and of course ada parut after, especially if it was a deeper tear that needed stitches. Mine took a good few weeks to heal and the scar faded quite a bit over time, but yeah some permanent marking is pretty common. Best to ask your gynae or midwife about keeping the area clean and maybe using silicone scar products after it's fully healed if you're worried about the appearance, they can advise based on how deep your tear was, k? The parut usually gets lighter and less noticeable each month, so don't stress yourself too much about it right now while you're still recovering!
