3mth baby poop dark green
Hi parents, may I know if changing of formula milk cause baby poop to becomes dark green and smelly gas? Baby is having dark green poop for almost a week, is it normal? And how to treat it?
A few of us in my mum group have gone through this when switching formulas, and yes the poop colour and gassy smells can change during the transition period. That said, since it has been going on for almost a week, it would be good to bring your little one to the PD just to be safe and get a proper check done. Sometimes it settles on its own once the baby adjusts, but a week is a fair bit of time and your PD can tell you whether to continue with the new formula or try something else. Better to get it looked at so you can have peace of mind, leh.
