Hi parents, how do you explain online safety and age-appropriate websites to your kids? My child has started asking about different sites they see online, including sports, games, and entertainment pages. I came across an online entertainment resource (https://www.lines.com/sweepstakes-casinos/mrgoodwin-casino-review) , and it reminded me that not every website is made for children, even if it looks harmless at first. Do you use parental controls, set clear rules, or have regular conversations about what they can and cannot visit online?

Nag-set kami ng parental controls sa lahat ng devices namin at every week may "internet talk" kami sa kainan, medyo chaotic kasi sabay-sabay silang nagtatanong pero mas okay na yun kaysa ma-discover ko na nagba-browse sila ng hindi para sa kanila! Tinuruan ko rin ang anak ko na palaging itanong sa akin muna bago buksan ang bagong website, kasi ang daming mukhang innocent na pages pero hindi pala talaga para sa mga bata, tulad ng mga casino o sweepstakes sites na madalas colorful at "fun" ang dating. Yung open na usapan talaga ang pinaka-epektibo para hindi sila matakot na lumapit sa atin kapag nakakita sila ng something na hindi nila maintindihan!
