Seizure in newborn babies

Hello parents. Ask ko lang po if may same case dito sa akin. Nagse- seizure newborn ko since he's premature (36 weeks), cord coil and meconium stained. He doesn't have any diagnosis yet from His pedia neuro, but he has abnormalities sa EEG nya. How do you handle your newborn po pag may episode sila? I don't know kung tama na binubuhat ko sya pag nagse-seizure sya. He's taking 2 anti seizure medicine, Dilantin and recently nag start sya ng levetiracetam. Matagal po ba makita yung improvement/ effect nung gamot sa babies? Thank you in advance.
