Ay don't worry lah, NIPT (that's the blood test they mention) at 17 weeks is totally standard, a few of us did it around that time and it's just to screen for chromosomal stuff, very common procedure! But honestly if you're overthinking, just ask your doc to explain exactly what they're checking and what the results mean, because half the worry goes away once you understand lah. Most results come back fine, but I know the waiting period can make you go crazy, one of my mum friends said talking to her partner about it helped settle her mind more than googling haha.
