OGTT LAB TEST

Hi mama! OGTT is the glucose tolerance test they give during pregnancy to check kung okay ang blood sugar mo, basically they give you a sugary drink, then test your blood after an hour to see how your body handles it, normal lang kung ang result ay below 140 mg/dL (some labs use 135), pero better talaga na ipakita mo sa doctor ang results para siya ang mag-explain properly dahil bawat lab may slightly different ranges at importante rin kung may risk factors ka. A few of us in my mommy group had to take it ulit dahil kailangan clarify ng doctor, so huwag mag-worry lang if may follow-up, most of the time it's just precaution para sa baby!
