25 weeks preggy. Is it safe for tooth extraction?

My ob told me possible to have tooth extraction but it would be better if i can delay the extraction after giving birth. But my problem is its been 2 sleepless nights due to toothpain. Does anyone tried to have tooth extraction during preganancy?
