Brownish spotting on 5 weeks pregnancy

Is it normal to have brownish spotting during 5 weeks pregnancy? Should I go A&E?

First time mummy to be nearing 40s

How long has it been? Could be your uterus clearing the old blood but I would suggest you to go to the gynae for a check instead.

It could be an implantation bleed? I also had very light brown spotting in between 4th and 5th week.
