The good news is once you're registered there with your refer letter, the transition is usually quite smooth, they'll sort out your admission date and follow-up scans straightaway. One of my mum friends bersalin at HKL with GDM also, she said just make sure you have all your blood test results and glucose readings written down, because they might want to redo some tests or adjust your plan once they see you. Don't worry too much, the O&G dept there handles transfers all the time!
