My thawed breastmilk tastes horrible - not sour or spoilt yet, just horrible. I read that some BF moms have issues with overactivity of lipase (an enzyme which breaks down fats) which causes faster decomposition. Anyone here has similar issue? My baby is not rejecting but I feel guilty for feeding him horrible stuff,

Don't worry about the smell. If you feel guilty, you can probably mix it with fresh or chilled to reduce the smell. But seriously, it's absolutely fine. Babies are smart, if it's spoilt, they will not drink it. Bm is the best stuff... Not horrible.
