Cabergoline to stop milk production

Any mummies took cabergoline to stop milk production? How is it is it effective and how early was the effect? Im only day 5 PP, and very very engorged since yesterday. Pumping, cabbage etc all doesnt work i even went to KKH A&E and they helped me pumped out some milk and massage but im still engorged uptil today.Ive also asked them to prescribe me cabergoline to stop milk production as this pumping and breastmilk is taking away my mental health altho its only been a few days. Fyi not able to latch baby, only able to pump.Is cabergoline effective ?
