Congrats on your pregnancy! At 17 weeks, part-time work is generally quite manageable, many mums do retail, tutoring, or admin roles right up to their third trimester, though honestly it really depends on how your body is coping because some days the fatigue just hits differently. One thing I'd flag though: if you're starting a new part-time job now, do check that you'll hit at least 3 continuous months of service before your maternity leave kicks in, otherwise you may not qualify for paid leave, a friend of mine only found this out quite late and it was stressful. Also worth knowing that legally, companies can let you go during pregnancy as long as they cite another reason, so just be a bit careful about which employers you approach and how stable the role seems. Something flexible like private tutoring or freelance admin work gives you more control over your hours and honestly less exposure to workplace politics when you're pregnant.

Hi mum, 17 weeks still got some flexibility depending on how your pregnancy is going. I’ve seen mums do part time admin, reception, retail with shorter shifts, home based packing, online selling, tutoring or simple freelance work because those are usually easier to adjust as tummy grows. I would just choose something not too physically demanding and with flexible hours because energy levels can change quite fast during pregnancy. If your pregnancy has any restrictions, maybe check with your gynae also before committing to a job.
