Darah dalam najis bayi newborn

Hi mummies out there, nak tanye anyone yang ade same situation macam saya?Baby dah nak masuk 2 bulan, last 2week warded sebab ada darah dalam najis. end up on antibiotik for 5-6days. after discharge dah takde darah. but then 1week after ade semula.Bila refer pakar, Dr cakap dia lactose intolerance. Dr suruh monitor dekat rumah sahaja, sebab result darah kali ke-2 ni cantik dan takde ape ape masalah. so skrg fully bf, and saya dah stop bagi susu FM dah nak masuk 5days, still ada lagi darah. nanti kena try bagi susu yang lactose free. ada chance utk baby pulih sendiri ke? saya risaukan anak saya, dia sangat aktif tapi berat dia baru naik 100g dari last checkup sebulan. 😞 help please anyone  #firstmom

Aww mama, I totally understand your worry, seeing darah in baby's nappies is really scary! Please do follow up with your paediatrician closely on this, especially since it's been on-and-off even after stopping FM. The weight gain (100g in a month) is something your doc should be monitoring closely too, so jangan delay the lactose-free formula trial. A few of my mum friends had similar situations and their babies did improve once they switched, tapi setiap baby lain, so kena follow doc's advice la. The good news is your baby is aktif, that's a positive sign. But with recurring blood in stool even on full BF, this really needs your paediatrician's eyes on it regularly, not just home monitoring. If the bleeding gets worse or baby becomes lethargic, jangan tunggu, go to emergency okay? You're doing the right thing by being proactive. Hang in there, mama!
