Baby kecik and takde heartbeat

Hi mummies, nak tanya adakah normal kalau baby 8 week scan kecik lepastu takde heartbeat lagi ? My last period 7hb February.. doctor suruh repeat scan in another 2 weeks. According to Dr 2 possibilities, satu maybe ovulation happen later than expected or embryo tak jadi. So just nak tanya Ada tak any mummy faced the similar situation but scan after 2 weeks the baby is ok?
