Weak during pregnancy

Hi mummies. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant, i feel weak almost all the time. I get my rest and my naps everyday on time. Is anyone else experiencing this? This is my 3rd child and i’ve never experienced this with my other 2. Is there any way to overcome this?

Hey mama, I totally get it, 9 weeks is peak exhaustion territory for so many of us, and it's actually pretty common to feel it more acutely the third time around, even if you sailed through with your first two. Your body's working overtime with the hormones and placenta development right now, and honestly, the good news is that most mums find a real energy lift once you hit the second trimester properly, that's when the placenta takes over more efficiently and things settle a bit. In the meantime, sounds like you're already doing the right things with rest and naps; just be gentle with yourself and maybe dial back expectations where you can, this phase does pass. That said, it's worth mentioning to your doctor or midwife at your next check-in, just to make sure your iron levels and other markers are where they should be, especially since this feels different from your other pregnancies.

I feel you. 🥹 I'm also at 9 weeks now(my first pregnancy) & I've not been able to function my life as per usual for the past 5 weeks. Also 0 physical activity when I used to workout daily prior to my pregnancy. I'm pretty much "bedridden" most of the time im awake & I have no interest in food anymore & have difficulty even trying to drink plain water, which i used to love a lot. I heard that things would get better in the 2nd trimester. let's hang in there tgt 👏🏻
