Yes u can. All nipple creams will write on the tube or box that no need to wipe off prior to latching baby. Do note that nipple cream should also be applied thinly for its effectiveness. Baby may not like the nipple because of the new taste - other than that, everything is as per normal. If sore or crack nipples happen to u often or its alrdy more than 1 wk post-baby, u might wana get ur latching checked out by a LC
