Failed to latched

Mummies I need help. I had really big nipples (I think) and I am unable to latch my LO at all. She is currently 6mo and I’m still trying really hard but fail to do so since the day she was born. It is too late to keep trying now? Or should I just pump regulary. I only managed to pump 3-4 times a days☹️
