5month old poop very frequently
Hi Mummies, my baby usually poop (big one) once a day. But since 1 week ago, shes been pooping 6 - 7 times a day. She is well, no vomiting and never reject milk. Anyone have experience this before?
Haha aiyoh 6-7 times a day is really a lot of diaper changes, poor mummy! At 5 months old if you recently introduced any new food or formula then that could be causing the change in bowel habits, or if purely breastfed sometimes mummy's diet change can also affect baby's poop frequency. Since baby is still feeding well, no vomiting, and seems happy and active then it's less likely anything serious lah, but if the poop looks very watery like pure liquid, has blood or mucus, or baby starts rejecting milk and seems lethargic then please bring to PD faster faster because want to rule out infection or gastroenteritis, otherwise just monitor for now and mention to your PD at the next scheduled visit!
