Nosebleeds in pregnancy

Hi mummies, 26 weeks pregnant currently and experiencing nosebleeds. Just today it started bleeding again for no reason. Gynae referred me to ENT to get it checked but I won’t be seeing ENT till September. Anyone with similar experiences can share how you manage the nosebleeds apart from pinching nose to stop the bleeding when it happens? TIA! #worriedfirsttimemom

Me too! Had my first nose bleed yesterday on my 26 week. I read it is kinda normal that the volume of your blood is increased during pregnancy. The remedy that I did was to pinch the bridge of my nose for good 5 minutes, putting cold ice pack on it and just let it stop naturally. I hope this helps!

What would you suggest if I couldn’t find cold ice pack because I’m outside? Example, a mall or in the MRT? It was quite daunting yesterday as I realised the blood was dripping while I was in the toilet in a shopping mall. I pinched my nose and prayed for the bleeding to stop. Thankfully it did in about 3 mins or so. I can’t imagine if I had to deal with the nosebleed where there’s no toilet around.
