Ay alam ko yan, mama! So the mucus plug ay parang isang malaking glob ng thick, jelly-like mucus, kaya talaga it's hard to miss when it comes out, haha. It can be clear, white, yellowish, or may slight pink tint, and honestly, maraming times may blood streaks pa (that's what they call "bloody show"), which is totally normal. The thing is, hindi automatic na sign ng labor agad if nawala na niya, a few mums I know actually lost theirs weeks before actual labor, at even nag-regrow pa! So don't panic if nangyari na sa inyo. BUT, important lang na mag-call agad sa triage kung may steady trickle or gush na parang di titigil, or if may heavy bleeding, fever, green/brown waters, or kung bumaba ang movements ng baby, okay? That's when you really need to check in. Best to mention din sa OB ninyo kung ano exactly ang nakita ninyo so they can reassure you or guide you properly!
