Hay, first time mommy kaya understandable na nag-aalala ka! The mucus plug is like a cork na nakalagay sa cervix to protect baby, at pwedeng mag-release anytime from now hanggang labor, so hindi mo dapat mag-panic if makita mo na or if wala pa, lahat normal lang talaga sa stage na yan. A few of us tried na kami, some of us noticed it, some didn't even realize, so don't stress about it as a sign na imminent na labor dahil kailangan mo pa ng other signs like regular contractions, water breaking, or more intense pain bago ka mag-go to hospital. Since mataas pa baby mo at walang strong labor signs, siguro good pa kayo for a few more weeks pa! Best mag-follow up sa OB mo this coming checkup para sure ka lang on baby's position and everything, at tell her kung may discharge or unusual stuff you notice.
