Dr S Wong sulfur soap

Question

Hello Moms! I have been using Dr S Wong sulfur soap for more than years. I usually switch to different soaps naman. I’ve done my research and read a lot about sulfur soap. I also checked yung recommendation here sa The Asian Parent articles. It doesn’t suggest any soap containing sulfur since because of its high chemical content. Although I read sa official FB page ng Dr. S Wong sulfur soap na it is safe for pregnant mom. Some even said na approved ng Ob nila. I felt guilty after reading the previous Q&As ng moms dito regarding the use of sulfur soap. By this time, I’m planning to switch sa Dove or Safeguard. Hindi ka dapat mag-guilty, mommy! Maraming moms use sulfur soap during pregnancy pa lang, tapos lahat okay lang naman, so it's honestly not a black-and-white thing, kaya the best move is to ask your OB directly about what's safest para sa iyo specifically, since every pregnancy is different. If you're worried though, Dove and Safeguard are solid choices na gentle, at marami sa amin dito trusted namin yan throughout pregnancy at breastfeeding, one of my mum friends swore by Dove kasi hindi siya nakakatugtog ng skin niya kahit sensitive. Whatever you decide, trust your instinct, at basta clear mo lang sa doctor mo, you're doing great!
