Itchy ni*ples
Hello mommies, normal ba mag itchy and parang nagkakameron ng fall out dry skin yung nipple? 30 weeks na ko. And since second trimester ko pa sya naoobserve. Thank you in advance sino makakasagot.
Hey mama! Oo, totally normal yan sa 30 weeks! Ang hormones talaga during pregnancy ay nagpapagdry ng skin, kaya yung itchiness at flaking, super common. A few of my mum friends experienced the same thing from second trimester onwards, at sobrang nalaki yung difference when they started using nipple balm or lanolin after shower. Someone in my mum group swears by Mama's Choice Nipple Cream din kasi pregnancy-safe and breastfeeding-safe sya, at it really helps with the dryness and irritation. Some moms also mentioned na it could be sign na colostrum production is starting, so na-connect sya sa breastfeeding prep.
