High TSH level

Hi mommies! May nakaexperience na po ba sa inyo na tumaas ang TSH level? Ano po ang mga nirecommend sa inyo? I was on my 6th week nung nakuha ko result ng lab test ko at nasa 7.5 ang TSH level ko. As per my 1st OB, normal lang daw yun tumaas sa 1st trimester. Pero nagpalit kami ng OB recently at nakita niya ang result ng TSH ko kaya nirefer niya agad ako sa Endo at for appointment palang kami this week.Mejo kinabahan ako ksi ilang weeks na ang lumipas at 9weeks na ako ngayon. Worried ako sa magiging effect kay baby. But praying na bumalik ito sa normal. #advicepls

Mama, its good na natanggap mo na agad ang referral to Endo kasi they really know best kung kailangan ng treatment or puro monitoring lang, some OBs are more cautious than others, and honestly mas better na safe, lalo na pag concerned na sila! The important thing is youre getting checked this week, so youll have answers soon, and most moms I know na may TSH concerns during pregnancy naging okay naman ang babies nila once properly managed by a specialist. For now, try not to worry too much (I know, easier said than done!) kasi stress wont help either, just go to that Endo appointment with your labs ready and let them guide you on next steps, whether its meds or just follow-up testing.
