Gynae Recommendations at KKH
Hi mommies. I finally decide to switch to private under Dr Ada Ng but her earliest avail is at my 36 weeks. Anyone has any experience with Dr Angeline Chua, Dr Dhilshad Qadir or Dr Samantha Yeo Mei-E? Appreciate your replies. Thank you.

Hi! Great that you're doing your research before committing. Here's what I know about each of the three doctors: Dr Angeline Chua She's well regarded overall. Mummies describe her as gentle, calm and reassuring throughout pregnancy. One mummy shared that during an emergency C-section after 21 hours of labour, Dr Angeline made sure she fully understood the risks and helped her feel at peace with the decision. The feedback is consistently positive on her bedside manner. She is a consultant so her fees are slightly higher and she tends to be busy, but mummies who have been under her feel well taken care of. Dr Dhilshad Qadir She's newer and doesn't have as many mummy reviews circulating yet, but her profile is very promising. She has a special interest in maternal health and is passionate about guiding women through pregnancy, with a strong emphasis on shared decision-making and open communication so patients feel fully informed and empowered. She's also a mother herself which many mummies find reassuring. Worth giving her a shot if you want someone with a more personalised, empathetic approach. Dr Samantha Yeo Mei-E She comes highly recommended and is one of the more popular names at KKH. Mummies describe her as calm and skillful, and her surgery skills get particular praise. Her clinic is usually packed but waiting time is reportedly not too bad. She has delivered thousands of babies and is well versed in complicated caesarean deliveries, and cares greatly about wound healing and scar aesthetics. If C-section is a possibility for you, that last point is a real bonus. Of the three, Dr Samantha Yeo is probably the most tried and tested based on mummy feedback. But honestly all three are solid doctors at KKH. Hope this helps you decide!
