Anxiety probably?

Hello mommies! HELP!!!!! haha My little one is currently 2 months old. Ever since LO's birth, I have been having anxiety(?) not sure if that's a right way to describe. When my confinement nanny was around, my LO shared a room with her while I sleep with my partner in our MBR - I kept hearing baby's cries (phantom cries) but he is actually sound asleep. My nanny told me to relax myself and try to sleep in more. Now that baby is 8wks, i still have this problem. When I'm washing bottles/ hubby drying his hair... I will tend to pause everything and check on LO. At night, due to colic, my LO will squirm and make little noises - due to that, I can't seem to relax and sleep properly as I will stay awake to make sure that he is okay. This resulted in poor sleep and i'm very sleep deprived as I'm the one doing night feeds :( Is any mommies facing the same problem or if any kind soul can advice on what I should do? Thanks alot in advance!! #firsttimemom

It’s TOTALLLLLLY NORMAL . My lo is 2 years old and while she’s sleeping in the room I can still hear her “cries” but she’s soundly asleep 😂 You can consider putting bell anklets for baby when he’s slightly older. If you hear the bell, check out baby 😄. I started wearing anklet for my lo around 18m, when she’s too quiet (not sleeping) it means she’s up to no good 🙈.
