Discharge or mucus plug

Hey mama! At 36 weeks, it's hard to tell from description lang, pero if it's thick, gelatinous, kinda stringy, and maybe with a bit of blood tinges, that's usually the mucus plug, pero honestly, you can lose it at 36 weeks and still have a few weeks before labor, so don't panic. I'd suggest showing it to your OB or midwife at your next checkup, or if you're worried sooner, just message them a quick photo or call, they see this all the time and can give you a proper answer! A few of my mum friends said their doctors were super reassuring when they weren't sure, so don't feel shy about asking.
